An administrative training workshop at the University of Zakho was held over two days to enhance employees’ professional skills.

The University of Zakho recently organized a specialized training workshop designed to enhance the knowledge and professional skills of its administrative staff. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to continuous professional growth and institutional development.

 

Workshop Details:

The two-day workshop took place on Monday, January 13, 2025, and was part of the university’s efforts to prepare newly appointed administrative employees to meet the demands of a fast-changing professional environment.

 

Program Objectives:

The training was thoughtfully structured to strengthen participants’ practical abilities and professional behavior through several key focus areas:

 

  • Digital Literacy: Improving the efficient and integrated use of digital tools and technology in everyday administrative work.
  • Communication and Public Interaction: Building effective communication skills, professionalism, and courteous behavior when dealing with visitors and university stakeholders.
  • Professional Ethics: Promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability across all administrative tasks.
  • Teamwork: Encouraging collaboration and effective coordination among departments to enhance overall organizational performance.

 

Facilitator and Recognition:

The workshop was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nizar Mohammed Ali from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Zakho. His sessions combined academic knowledge with practical insights, creating a valuable learning experience for all participants.

 

At the end of the program, all attendees were formally acknowledged for their active participation and dedication, and were awarded official certificates of completion.
